Before the next thing you do (no quiet layer)
Same thing with nothing else in the mix. Use this one if the quiet layer distracts you.
What it says
Stop for a second. Look at what you are about to do.
Say it out loud in one sentence. Just the action. Not the story around it.
Now say how you want to do it. Pick one word. Calm. Direct. Patient. Whatever fits.
Then name one thing that would tell you it worked. Something you could see before the day ends.
If someone else is in this with you, they get to choose too.
Now keep the promise you just made. Do the thing. Watch what happens.
Afterwards, write one line. What you expected. What you got. Keep both, even if they do not match. The gap is the useful part.

Plain spoken track. Nothing on it but a low background hum.
